About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced mid-level Project Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing the firm’s projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Project Manager will work closely with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders across practice teams to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the firm’s needs. Projects may range from running responses to State AG and FTC inquiries, to helping manage technology innovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning sessions to determine the scope, objectives, and course of action for each project.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources needed, utilizing project management tools and software.
- Help execute project plans related to State AG and FTC investigations.
- Communicate project status updates, milestones, and key deliverables to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Manage document and other information gathering.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and budget.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Continuously improve project management processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager or a similar role, preferably in a technology or a start-up environment.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software and web technologies.
- Prior experience with gathering and producing documents for investigations.
- Solid organizations skills: able to manage multiple projects, assess priorities and perform under deadlines.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Location
This position is available in any of our four offices: Washington D.C., New York, San Francisco, and Chicago and will occasionally require travel to Firm-sponsored events. A hybrid work schedule is available for employees 1-2 days a week. Full hybrid employees will be considered if they meet substantially all the criteria above.
Compensation & Benefits
ZwillGen is committed to pay transparency in accordance with applicable wage laws. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
